Crowe advises BestFit Group (Ai Fitness & jumpers fitness) on acquisition of PurFitness gym chain

Advisory

Crowe BPG successfully advised BestFit Group, a portfolio company of NORD Holding, on the acquisition of all 6 locations and more than 10,000 members of the PurFitness Group. From April 2024, these studios will expand the existing portfolio to a total of 126 fitness studios.

This makes the BestFit Group one of the leading fitness operators in Germany with more than 126 studios, over 430,000 members and around 2,000 employees. With its established brands Ai Fitness and jumpers fitness, the BestFit Group is positioning itself in the rapidly growing premium value segment.

The acquisition of the 6 PurFitness locations represents a significant step in the BestFit Group's expansion strategy. Through the regional distribution of the PurFitness locations, the BestFit Group can not only strengthen its core areas, but also expand its local presence in the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main metropolitan region. Five studios will continue to operate under the jumpers fitness brand, while the location in Langenselbold will continue to operate under the Ai Fitness brand.

The Crowe BPG team (crowe-bpg.de), which was responsible for the financial due diligence and commercial contract advice, consisted of Andreas Hoffmann, WP and Partner (overall management), Martin Brinkfort, authorized signatory (Manager), Philipp Jans (Associate) and Henry Miller (Associate).
